STYRES/HILL'S RACING PR: STEWART JOINS THE FOLD

July 24, 2014 - Ohsweken, Ontario - One of the busiest weekends of the season is coming up for the Styres/Hill’s Racing team, with 4 races in 5 days on their schedule, and guest drivers joining the fold. The team also visited victory lane at Ohsweken Speedway again last Friday...

FRIDAY, JULY 18
Glenn Styres and Keith Dempster were joined by Paige Polyak driving the #77 for the 360 Sprint Car portion of Friday's event at Ohsweken Speedway. Aaron Turkey, Robbie General, and Ryan Hunsinger drove for the Styres/Hill's team in the Crate Sprint Car races.

Aaron drove from 10th to 1st and took his 4th feature win of the season, while Ryan went from 11th to 2nd, and Robbie started 9th and finished 7th. Paige was the best of the 360 drivers, as she started 7th and finished 4th, while Glenn finished 6th, and Keith 7th.

Ryan continues to lead the Crate Sprint Car championship standings, while Aaron is 22 points behind in 2nd, and Robbie is 10th. Glenn is still at the top of the 360 Sprint Car championship standings, while Keith is 9th.

SATURDAY, JULY 12
Alex Hill and Dylan Westbrook were planning to race their 600cc Micro Sprints on Saturday, but were kept home due to wet weather, along with many other area racers.

WHAT'S NEXT
The huge extended weekend of racing begins on Friday, July 25 with Autograph Night at Ohsweken Speedway. Glenn and Keith will be joined by former Canadian Sprint Car Nationals winners Shane Stewart and Wayne Johnson for the 360 Sprint Car portion of the night, while Ryan, Aaron, and Robbie will be in the Crate Sprint Car races.

Alex and Dylan will race on Saturday, July 26 at Lime Rock Speedway in Le Roy, New York.

Sunday, July 27 will find Shane and Wayne racing in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series event at Cornwall Motor Speedway in Cornwall, Ontario.

The Northern Summer Nationals on Monday, July 28 bring Glenn, Keith, Shane, Wayne, Dain Naida, and Jessica Zemken back to Ohsweken Speedway for a big $3,000-to-win 360 Sprint Car event, with Ryan, Aaron, and Robbie racing their Crate Sprint Cars as well.

Everything finishes on Tuesday, July 29 with the Six Nations Showdown for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series, with Shane, Wayne, Dain, and Jessica all set to compete with the world's premier winged Sprint Car series.
