Sprint Cars at Ohsweken is a spectacle like none other,  In fact all the racing at the O is awesome, it's just really to bad the weekly program is on a Friday Night....or I would be attending a lot more then I do.

How if at all does this effect the SOS sprint car series? Was i wrong in thinking that Ohsweken had scheduled their nights so that the teams could run both the regular nights at the O, and run the series? I would hate to see the series get hurt here, but i don't see how it can't be. While this may be great news for the Ohsweken crowd, how does this effect the fans at Brighton?

I told my psychiatrist that everyone hates me. He said I was being ridiculous - everyone hasn't met me yet.
;D

I feel that exact same way.And from the looks of this schedule it looks like another stellar year at the O. Some really innovative fan promotions in there as well (two for 1 adult admission if you prove you live in Brant county and such)..Now we just need something for those of us that travel 2-3 hours to get there..lol I love the Sprints for sure, but my fav division there to watch is the Thunder stocks.. Its just crazy when those guys drift 2-3 wide and sideways through the turns..I'd need a few spare pairs of underwear if I drove one of those.. Also seen some really good racing in the mini's with probably one of the closest finishes I witnessed all season long as Mitch Brown just edged Abel Castelein at the finish one night in particular.. I look forward to getting down there at least 2 or 3 times again this year.

Ohsweken is the only full size dirt track in the province that runs Fridays.  Brighton, South Buxton, Merrittville, and Brockville run Saturdays...Cornwall and Humberstone run Sundays.

I have enjoyed the O show every time I have been there. If I can get a Fri night off this season , I would like to see the Patriots again. I am tho, saddened to read that the Late models will not run at all. Given the choice I have to admit I will go down the QEW to see them over sprints. I guess it's just a fender thing.  ;D
