NIGHTHAWK PROTECTION SERVICES SECURED BY OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY
Following a few isolated incidents during a major event in 2011, Ohsweken Speedway has made a significant move to enhance grounds security and parking lot surveillance at the facility for all events during the 2012 racing season. Nighthawk Protection Services, an Ontario licensed agency with over 30 years of professional security experience, has been selected to provide security and patrol services to act as a deterrent to theft and any acts of vandalism on the grounds.
“One incident is too many and is totally unacceptable” stated promoter Glenn Styres in making this announcement. “We are making moves to insure that our patrons can come and enjoy their evening of entertainment and feel peace of mind knowing that their vehicles are being looked after while the show goes on. I am very confident that we have the right people in place to prevent future problems from occurring” he concluded.
Remember that plenty of Advanced Ticket remain on sale for all events where reserved seating will be utilized. These include the Tony Stewart, World of Outlaws, and the Canadian Nationals events and will remain on sale Monday through Thursday during normal business hours at 1-888-720-7223 on a first come, first served basis until the week prior to the events scheduled dates. Weekly Friday Night Thunder at Ohsweken Speedway offers affordable, exciting, family entertainment just a short drive from many Mid-Western Ontario locations. Adult general admission is just $12, seniors and students are $10, while kids age 12 and under are FREE! (Prices are slightly higher for Special Events). Spectator gates open @ 6:00PM with the first race taking the green flag at 7:45!
