AN END OF AN ERA

  I am sad to announce that an end to an era has come, 2010 was Work’N Woody’s last year traveling across the country as the “Official Push Truck & Safety Vehicle”, for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.  I was notified by the World of Outlaws a couple weeks ago that they were going to go in a different direction and would not be renewing my contract for the 2011 season.  So, after some very serious soul searching, I have decided to pursue a different career path closer to my home in Florida.  After the last 5 years of traveling the circuit by myself either working for the Outdoor Channel or operating Work’N Woody, I want to be home with my family and be the husband and father I promised I would be 22 years ago when I married my beautiful wife Donna.

  I want to thank the World of Outlaws for giving me the opportunity to live my dream for the past 2 years operating Woody by myself.  This was a very difficult decision, but the right one for me to make.  I have to thank all of my loyal advertisers who have helped and supported me;  BUTLERBUILT, CLEAN SEAL, WATERMAN RACING COMPONENTS, GOODYEAR, RED LINE OIL, ENGLER MACHINE & TOOL, BOSMA POULTRY, WESMAR RACING ENGINES, SHAVER SPECIALTIES, J E PISTONS, AGGRESSIVE HYDRAULICS, GAERTE ENGINES,  and OUTHOUSE IMAGE & DESIGNS. 
 
What I am going to miss the most is working with the WoO road crew (Jim & Luci, Bill & Lynda, Eloy, & Justin) and helping all the teams and their crews, whether it was a traveling team or a local team, Woody has always been there for them all.  I wish all of them good luck and a great 2011 season and beyond.
