Possibly if he runs well and JRM knows his oval background, they may give him some oval races to run too later down the road.

This is great for JR but I hope this isn't the "road course ringer" kiss of death as far as NASCAR oval racing is concerned for him.
Listening to Sirrius NASCAR News on the way home from work today and the announcer called JR a road course specialist. Made me wince.
