NAPA Auto Parts 200, Presented by Dodge Ottawa Media Tour
Ottawa, July 28, 2010 - NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers Ron Fellows and J.R. Fitzpatrick were in Ottawa on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 to promote the upcoming NASCAR Nationwide Series NAPA Auto Parts 200, presented by Dodge race to be held August 28-29 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montréal.
Prior to the media tour, they visited Parliament Hill in Ottawa where these images were taken. J.R. Fitzpatrick is also pictured in the CHUM Radio studio of the Team 1200 Sports Radio with Summer Scratches show host Lee Versage on the left.
About Ron Fellows
The internationally renowned veteran Ontario driver, a two-time LeMans 24-Hour class winner and Daytona 24-Hours winner, won the 2008 NASCAR Nationwide race at Montreal and recently earned 2nd place in the NASCAR Nationwide race at Road America.
The young and talented Ontario driver won the NASCAR Canada Series race at Montreal in 2009, and has recently placed 7th at Road America, in only his 5th NASCAR Nationwide Series career start. J.R. won the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race at the Honda Edmonton Indy last weekend to take the championship lead.
