thats it, start & park. these teams do this at every race, there was never any intention to run the race. they get
35.000.00 to start the race. no sponsors, no crew. they make money doing this.
What is the big deal if you pay guys to start and they end after 2 laps or so. Who cares right? so why bother. Isn't this considered lying to your fans or something. They say they broke when they didn't.
I guess I'm not about the car count. I would rather see 30 drivers trying to win then see 43 drivers on the track just to fill the field.
I guess I really know nothing about racing or I'm not a true race fan as, I come to see all competitors trying to win and not just ride around in circles for a few laps.
So which one of these is trues? Thompson had ignition problems or not? I love the handling ones. You go into the pits and can't they fix this? I see all NASCAR drivers saying the car is not handling well and the Crew Chief says we will fix that when you come in. Maybeair pressure adjustment or a little wedge adjustment.
Boy I really don't know my racing as I never knew handling issues can't be worked on.

Don't get me wrong I love NASCAR racing and need a fix every week but I think they don't need fillers. Maybe all sports have this, I guess golf does as well as you don't make the cut you don't play the final rounds.

Why should I turn my TV off? You still haven't said why there has to be a 43 car field? If the economy is so bad save the money you pay the field fillers and pay 37 or 39 cars a purse then you are saving 180,000 or 120,0000 (Based on 30,000 to stat the race)
It's not about the drivers but filling the field. Making up a problem why they left after 2 laps. Put in the reason as filler not handling.

Well I like to see an underdog break the top 20 or top 10 but I hate seeing cars drop out for no reason.

the fact that they can not afford the second set of tires is a good reason. also Field fillers are a fact of life always have been always will be. the only time they go away is when the economy is good. car counts are down all across north America from woo to local shows. the fans are not stupid they know who are Field fillers and who is not.
