Gonneau reaches the top

BRANDS HATCH, England – Vincent Gonneau reaches the victory in the Open Sprint of the Brands Hatch 200 of the second event of the 2012 EURO-RACECAR NASCAR Touring Series. The driver from Belgium finishes ahead of the French Philippe Marie and British Ben Anderson.

Vincent Gonneau (#15 Gonneau Racing) announced at the beginnig of the event he has to not make the mistakes he made in Nogaro. Successfull mission for the Gonneau Racing driver who led the highest number of laps and benefited of the spin of Simon Escallier (#18 Scorpus Racing) after the Safety Car intervention, after 4 minutes of race, to finally win. “This is a come back to the normal situation after good performances in Nogaro but which didn’t lead me to a good result, said he. I am sorry for Simon but after the Safety Car came back into the stands he was less focused. Then, Philippe Marie was not so far behind and I didn’t take it easy. Maybe I was a little faster in the two first sectors. The most important was not to make any mistake because I really had to bring this victory home!
