I'm curious what anyone thinks about this. For the past three seasons Mark Gordon has been the absolute, undisputed king of the LLM division at Mosport (and two years at Kawartha for that matter), winning probably 90% of the features over that time. So far this year his best feature finish has been 4th. Now granted the season is only two weeks old, so this may seem a little premature, but I don't think there's been a time over the past three seasons when Gordon has finished off the podium two consecutive weeks. There's been some new cars arrive ,ie 20 Dwight Brown and 83 Ian Bourque, and some others that seem to have stepped up their program this year. In fact the top three have been the same cars both weeks just with the order shuffled; week one it was 20 Brown, 82 Bill Ross and 22 Todd Delisle, week two it was Delisle, Brown and Ross. So I guess my question is, is this the year that one of these three guys, or maybe someone else, steps up and dethrones Gordon? Or is this just a blip on the radar and Gordon will re-establish his dominance and go on to a fourth consecutive championship?
Bourque is racing there now? he was at Barrie last year. I assumed he left to race OSCAAR full time.
Yes Bourque has been there both nights. Opening night he led the feature for 10 or so laps and ended up fourth, this past Saturday he had some kind of problem and didn't finish.
It's too early to tell....save for Barrie, car counts seem to be down for LLM across the board...
yea, we got a couple back and some new ones.....McWhirter was the biggest surprise for me.
