I'm 4 km north of the track on 7. It rained for maybe 2 mins. You could see it was just one passing cloud. It wasn't even enough to make the road wet.

As I posted before, I called to make sure and the message said it was a go, untill you pressed 0 to connect to someone and got the different message. I'm a driver, I was never called, had I not seen it on here, I woudl've been there. I'll bet 90% of the drivers and fans showed up. Driving by the track, they even had the stands and flags setup..

My suggestion of an email blast was for that reason especially.  Many drivers, crews, and fans travel from outside the Peterborough area which means its more then just a simple 10 minute drive to the track all considering the wonderful fun of highway traffic.  You get all the emails in one big email group and send out a simple email announcing the cancellation.  I wonder if the pic they have posted on the main page was taken tonight or from a previous storm as it does look awful nasty??

Unfortunatly its a small car count at Mosport, so I'm there to try and support it, get more seat time, get a 6th place cheque at worst and get my $#%@ kicked by Baker LOL

As per an email that I received today from Kawartha, the fan appreciation night is going to be attempted to rescheduled.  So hopefully they find a suitable night for all divisions considering this week there is a 100 Lap LLM race.  Sure hope there a bunch more of LLM's this week for the 100 lapper otherwise it could be a real sleeper.
