thanks for clearing that up....I just do my quick reviews on what I see form a fans perspective...so I'm never gonna know the full story.
but it's good to know what actually happend.... so thank you.
i heard remington was knocked unconscious during the big wreck...the full throttle moment was not his doing (if you know what i mean)
hear he is ok but has retired from racing
his son is now behind the wheel of the #8
wow, that really is too bad
wow, that really is too bad
I second that...sad to hear
I'm still giving Jim credit for not making it any worse, and doing so conscious. The car only came on the gas a few seconds before I would've hit it in the door, and you could even see from the marks on the track, it came off the gas once it was down out of the groove. If he was un-conscious that was some real divine intervention for that to happen. He got out of the car on his own, although he was obviously shaken...
Someone might want to check with him before announcing his retirement. From what I've heard its was their plan for his son to run (another?) car this year. So why not give him seat time, from his son's performance last Friday, spinning out 3 times at speed where you should be easily sticking to the track, that car is really bent up and in no way a championship contending car for Jim to drive...
