If that were the case, then the #84 and #71 should also be a lap down, and the 55....Under caution even with laps counting, if you had to pit...you were not counted as being laps down.
Thanks for clarifying as the discussion at the track was that if you did pit you were supposed to be put a lap down. So I wonder why the question mark besides Jackson's name for finishing third? Anyone know?
Who knows....does it matter....the races are over and it says he finished 3rd and cheques were given out....so he's third.
Did anyone actually SEE tiemersma come into the pits under that early caution?? and if so, did he come in BEFORE or AFTER they started counting caution laps?? also....what was with all the RF tire problems??
I believe both 67 and 84 came into the pits during that
caution. It appeared to me that the field did about
1 lap before the 67 came back out and about 2 laps
before the 84 came back, but I'm not sure. I also
don't know when they started counting caution laps.
They said that the caution came out at lap 20, and
that when they would restart, it would be at lap 23.
