Not everyone is going to agree with this, but a rev-limiter is a type of traction control. And that's all I'm gonna say on that topic. I'll let all the other experts explain why or why not.

Well I always thought REV LIMITER was to keep the engine RPM'S at a certain level.

Well I always thought REV LIMITER was to keep the engine RPM'S at a certain level.

Wichit in turn prevents wheel spin thus traction control.

Gentlemen allow me to clarify what I meant was wheel spin off the corner............and hey what is stopping anyone from puttin a 604 along with a rev limit in their car ;D

Wes, not trying to be snarky here.  Id like to know how a rev limiter is traction control??  If they only kick in at high rpm at the end of the shoots, how is this helping you in the corners, mostly on acceleration?

Or am I missing something?  If im missing something id sure like to broaden my horrizens  🙂

Sorry for the delay - here are some samples from Friday August 5.
