Yes but let's remember that the Sizzler was prior to the final NASCAR race and it was till warmer at the NASCAR event. So we can't control the weather here in Canada!!!LOL
Only negatives may be some American teams may pass on it with the new best 10 out of 12 races counting for the ACT title and it being a week before the Oxford 250 so some drivers may skip it to save their cars.
What exactly is the rule though? Do they get show up points? Do they have to run all 12 to be allowed to throw out the 2 finishes?

They do not need to run all of the races to be championship-eligible.
However, they do need to run all of the races to be eligible for any provisional starting position, should they fail to qualify for an event.
