I agree with Rob... I copied this from the Sauble Speedway Web Site and I think the idea of some sort of car "show N shine" might help build a larger wallk-in fan base.

For all the complaining we do on here, I have never seen track owners work as hard as Brad and Sue do. I have stopped in a few times during the week, and they are always doing something. Mikey is always running around on the ATV. They are putting everything they have into the track.

I know that I try and get my truck out to Cruiser's Cruise Nights in Southampton, and Pumpkinfest in October in Port Elgin. We need to get a bunch of vehicles together from different divisions for a car show in the track's area. Every time I have the truck out, I get a lot of questions, and every time people see us race somewhere outside of Grand Bend, we get complimented about it.
Now this is what I like to see!! Someone who appreciates the dedication and effort of all the Staff at Grand bend. Anyone who has witnessed a race night at the Bend will always come back for more.
It was awsome to see Jack Speedy Monaghan at the track last week. I crewed for Jack in the 90's in Cascar and you just won't find a cooler cat anywhere. Would like to see some more of the Windsor boys from Checker flag come down and see some good racin and stay the night in the Grand bend Camping area attached to the pit area and party...
Come on out and see the best racing South Western Ontario has to offer... You won't be dissapointed with the show!!!
Last week we had tons of windsorites at the show=> Banks, Thurlby's, Monaghan's, Morneau's, Dupuis, Bonnett's and Woods shows up for the big event.

A link to Grand Bend Speedway is now on the Grandbend.com website that lists things to do in Grand Bend. I contacted the site coordinator and arranged to have a link posted for the track. The track's logo now appears on the Events Page and clicking on Grand Bend Speedway on the "Fun Things To Do" and "Things For Kids" pages takes you to the Grand Bend Speedway site.
I sent a photo from one of the mini truck races and it should soon appear in the slide show in the header for the page. I will pick up the costs for this as a way to help out our track.

Hey Murray, it would be very cool if you could forward a Sprint and JCAR pic as well and ask them to post them.The broader spectrum of cars may create more general interest for those who view the site.
