Well Rob, I hear the Sunset meeting put the mid pack guy further behind...
Front load bolts, headers, fibreglass bodies, and fabricated metric chassis I hear? So much for going backwards.
Just another 1,000 bucks minimum to dump into an already overpriced class. The payouts dont go deep enough to warrant being in this class any longer. Its ALL money winning now.
I suppose not Ross. I thought they might keep it at bad not jump to horrible.
charlie : why can't those fast cars convert back ? why is it always expected for the mid packers or back markers to step up and spend more money .
That's the million dollar question right there, isnt it? Problem is, track management (no matter where you go) seems to listen hardest to the guys who are already running up front. Those guys are not only the fastest, but usually the loudest in the garage area too. Nature of the beast.
But if you're trying to control cost, they're probably not the guys to be listening to.
well let sunset do what they want, get on board with guys who want AFFORDABLE thunder cars . there seems to be some interest from guys at capital speedway . maybe they can varney / sauble/ barrie on board ? they did this with the llm class and wrecked it now thunders .
Yetti, maybe you can explain. What is it about the built metric chassis that renders all others uncompetitive?
