Are there stores in the US that are like Princess Auto? Going to New Hampshire next week and would like to pick up a few things.

harbor freight tools, same thing as the princess, but they carry more fabricating stuff, they're web site is pretty good to, always lots of specials.

Harbor Freight has *some* good deals, but if you're buying Princess Auto and comparing (quality / price) - there's very few differences by the time you include currency exchange and potential duty / taxes coming back across the border (if over your allowable limit).

If it's a blended trip of doing other things, its worth going to look if there's one near where you are going. They also advertise in Circle Track Magazine what sale items are currently 'specials'.

In general terms quality vs. quality, princess auto seems to the a slight edge...
