Where do you buy tires that are ten Plus years old? Sanford & Sons Junk Yard? Everytime I go to buy tires they need to order them in and they are new tires made the year I bought them.
Did they say what a shelf life of a tire should be?

Tires shouldnt be used for more than 6 years.
