100 000 to hold a ncts event

At 10,000 to show everyone and their brother would buy or make a 1/2 assed NCTS car for $20,000... Make one lap and park it.

At 13 events that $130,000, subtrack that 20K crap car, and 40K to travel in style thats 70K a year profit. Make a rather nice living off that....

I'm getting the CRO #00 ready to race for 10K a race. I will Qualify last do one lap and say my brakes are gone. It's 10,000 more purse money I bet.

I think you may be confusing this with a news report yesterday about the purses for the Craftsman Truck Series going up by over 10% next season.

However, I can see NASCAR increasing the NCaTS purses by $10,000 to make the series a little more affordable.....the purse for this weekend is almost $92,000...highest purse yet!

It must be true cause Mitch Mortimer told me so.
