It appears to be thats what he told Kevin.  Now there are a few theories about why it may not have been ready but they are really based in Kevin and I bench racing tonight and any or none of them may hold some truth.  I would guess that it boils down to the particular car/engine package he intends on running up here was not quite ready and since he's not running for points, there's no reason to flog it to get to the track (that and he gets to race around in a Camping world truck semi regular for his racing fix).  Not sure who's car he was running during the testing day, could have been some one else's with his # on it.

Can't give you anything specific because he didn't share it and I won't post what Kevin and I figure are other possible influences because it's just speculation.  We don't believe it has anything to do with the KHI deal though.

At any rate, we'll see him out there sometime this season.

Anybody with a big roll of cash want to see us out there?  ;D  You have to ask the question every once and a while.

FYI: J.R will be competing in the #4 Auto-Owners Insurance Silverado this Saturday at Michigan International and I hear that "weather permitting" he will be at Mosport driving on Sunday.

Expect to see J.R. in all CT Series road course races this year, as well as in some action at Chesterman's Indoor Speedway in Tillsonburg at some point this season.
