Did anyone find out why JR was spotting for DJ rather than driving the 84? Anything to do with the Harvick contract ??? Does this mean he is out of the series?
My understanding is they didn't have enough time to get a car ready. The car wasn't worked on this spring as they were hoping to be down south full time.

He and the 84 car were at Delaware for the test and he seemed to be putting down some good lap times then. This was before he signed with Harvick. So I don't buy that as a reason.

I just thought it a bit strange as everyone was worried about car counts and Delaware was to be a show case and JR Fitzpatrick was on the entry list and people were there to see him race etc, etc.
Not to mention I picked him to win in the pick 3 😛
