I agree 100%. JR should be commended! I think all the teams would do the same if approached. Hopefully it put some smiles on some little guys faces.
I've been saying for years now, when teams/drivers/tracks/sponsors/sanctioning bodies/etc.. get involved with charity, fundraisers and the like, it speaks well for our sport and we all benefit from it in the long term.
Matt had given one of his hero cards to someone that was down the hall from Matt on the stroke unit before that guy went home. He was very happy about recieving the hero card from Matt. He said had never met a race car driver before.
