They now have the same ticket as a Cup race . The tickets start at $45 for the grandstand for the Pocono 500 in June . The ARCA race REMAX 200 is $20 bucks any seat in the house is a great deal .  With a Canadian dollar nearing 93 cents US and some takers at par , there are lots of choices out there.

YUP I am P/Oed about the price there is NO need for it. I am talking about upping the price 7 days before the race!  >:(  That is what I am upset about.

Sure the $99.00 price is great if you are going to attend all the events. I too have promoted that price myself. I have always backed Cayuga Speedway and CASCAR/NASCAR and always will.....but this upping the price 7 days before the race I have to draw the line there. THAT SUX!

One other thing the VIP seats are the seat in front of the tower start/finish line....I know a lot of people were very upset because they couldn't sit there last year at the race.

P.S Dave were you driving the white pickup in Ancaster by Walmart last night and cut me off? LOL Save the racing for the track buddy  😉

Well, the above prices are for IRP...which may in fact have more history that Cayuga.  Also, it probably hasn''t been known as a struggling sh*thole for the past 10 years, desperate to attract ANY amount of spectators for its shows.

So, their answer?  Gouge the few that show up.  Call it what you want.  Its a Cascar Race and not worth what they are asking.

Went to the opener at Oswego NY a few weeks ago.

Seen  Supermods , ROC modifieds ,  Small block supers

Features and heats for all classes  $25.00  cdn money at par.

I'm a hard core fan and also crew on a local ACT late model.

But $45 bucks for the Cayuga race....no thanks.

the marketing & pricing does seem slightly bizarre for a venue that's been primarily forgotten about for the last decade. Probably would be smart to price tickets low and then increase them in future years if the demand is proven and the car counts justify the prices. Most fans have a real wait and see attitude and if only 20 NCTS cars show and perhaps 12-13 for the sportsman shows, fans will feel ripped off, pass or no pass. Cup Lite numbers have been in the 14-16 range the last couple years. There is no way they should be on anything bigger than a 3/8 mile.
Pricing is everything today. Look at Flamboro's regular shows-good car counts, but $15.00 admission and slow, expensive food lines, and the usual 400 faithfull in the stands. Oshweken opened with an SOS Show at $15.00 and had an excellent crowd for the opener. Merrittville this past monday was $15.00 for modifieds, sportsmen, BRP late model tour, IMCA exhibition race and an enduro and the place was packed. Both these tracks are now ten bucks for a regular show.
What I think the new owners are forgetting is that Cayuga survived as a special events track by not running against the Saturday night venues. When the shows were Sunday afternoon, then the fans from Flammy, Delaware, Holland, Lancaster, Merrittville, Sunset, and so, on would attend as an alternative to their local venue. Running against them makes no sense. The glory days ended there also when Molson took away their advertising dollars (primarily spent on ASA advertising) and threw it into the Toronto Molson Indy.
I wish them well but feel their race dates are not well thought out and the prices are out of line for an unknown product.
The price gouging at Ontario Pavement tracks seemed to start with Delaware ISMA pricing last season and I hope other tracks were not using that as a standard as to what they could get away with.
