speaking of Cayuga, did they recently undergo another name change? The Toronto Sun refers to the track today as Cayuga Speedway Park, which I thought was the name in use after the Lichty-Evans owned Cayuga 2000 Speedway. I see the website is now Cayuga Motor Speedway.
Here's a little helpful hint about reading the Toronto Sun - don't. I seriously doubt McNutty even goes to races or watches them on TV to write about them. That being said, they do sponsor quite a bit in racing circles, but you'd think they'd have a better reporter on motorsports for their paper then...
slightly off topic but, when Dean first got involved with the SUN, I think he was primarily covering Kawartha & Mosport, but now it just seems like more "Cup" & major racing league stuff. I think I liked the coverage better when he was more of a short track fan.
Yeah, and he can't even get that stuff right when it's so much easier to get info on it...
Cayuga has changed the name a couple of times under the new ownership. They definitely used Cayuga Speedway Park initially. I think they used another variation (maybe Cayuga International Speedway?) for a short time before settling on Cayuga Motor Speedway. I see the logo has changed in the last few days as well.
