Well I'd say the 2nd Cayuga event or the 1st Barrie race were the highest attended in Ontario and it would be very close on which one was bigger.  Kawartha could be a bigger event but the biggest draw back is that Derek can only fit so much temporary seating at the track.  So until permanent seating is put in place the crowds just won't get much bigger.  Something I wish would happen so that you don't have to sit in one of the 2 corners and miss the front stretch action of the pits and all.  Sure you could sit inside in the covered grandstand but come on is that really racing?? You don't get to smell the fresh racing fuel and burning rubber, that's just not racing.LOL

The second Barrie event was higher attended than the first...by a LONG shot.

minor???  ;D

My boss almost had a heartattack when I told him I needed an extra week off.

That was the easy part, the hard part is trying to drive back to Montreal in a week and get any damage repaired to the cars in between!

I was told (by someone who should know) in excess of 9,200 people for the second race.
