I have a couple questions I'm a driver at Delaware speedway making my way up in 1 week to run octoberfest with ither pure stocks or minis I have a neon and was wondering what gear and stagger guys run? 14" or 15" tires? Just that kinda stuff. Looking like there is about 5 of us comming to run from here hopefully more will to.
I'm not an expert, but we run about 1000 more rpm at Delaware than Flamboro on the same tires. Run more stagger and bring extra parts lol. Also maybe some extra weight just in case.
we had a 95 neon we practised a few years ago and kept hitting the limiter at the flag stand with 185/60/14 tires in 2nd...there was an ohsweken neon bomber there last week not sure tires and i heard they did the same...rocket rutherfords neon purestock /bomber may have the newer style tranny which i heard makes a diff, cuz whatever he gets around well...i've posted the link to the tracks unofficial chat site...if you memberup there u could ask questions and may get better answers...i find CRO isnt used by flamboro racers as much as other tracks because they have their own chat site...but i keep plugging CRO..lol.
