The weather network said it would be Sunny and 20 from 3 o clock thru to Sunday.
But as race time approached, and we made our way to the track at 4, it had rained off and on and the clouds were actually getting darker.
When the green dropped on the first of the 3 mini heats the track was already covered in mist and the fog was rolling in.
By the end of their heats you couldnt see the other end of the track.
The first thundercar heat was next and cars were dirt tracking coming off the corners trying to find traction as the track was no way raceable.
The tracks attempt at trying to have the championships decided on the track, and not by mother nature wasnt going to pan out this season.
The next thunder heat saw the first 5 cars slam straight into the wall coming around the first turn, causing considerable damage to a couple cars and luckily the one wasnt seriously injured as the end of the one cars bumper was clearly going thru the window net.
The weather network had now changed its forcast to drizzle alnight.

There hasnt been an official announcement, but Flamboro has plans in the works to add "FrostFest" a mini stock and thundercar invitational after Peterboro's final.

But next week its Octoberfest with 9 divisions of stockcars partaking.
