I know I have asked a few people before, but I just want to make sure with the gears for a thundercar for flamboro. Dad has a Ford 9 inch with 2 speed power glide and he has 3.89's in now. He runs 6400 or so at Sunset, Barrie and Sauble. What gear do we need to run oktoberfest. will he be ok or will he need to change. if he left the 3.89's in, what would he likely turn for RPM? Any help would be great.

From a flamborough regular, when I asked about 6.88 final

"As long as you got good valve springs cause you are going to be turning around 6800 rpm"

If you have a 1.76 (common) PG your final is 6.84 (few RPM under 6800)
for 1.82 (less comon but favored by racers for obviouse reasonson) PG final is 7.07 (few RPM over 6800)

Make sure you know what ratio your 1st is in the PG.

I was just wondering who was planning on attending Oktoberfest this year? Both Beau and I will be returning.

Flamboro is no longer "Slamboro" it's good, clean, hard, racing like it should be!
