Glen Hils is quiting in the near future and is one reason Flamboro has a number of cars.....he was off last Saturday because of being at Ohsweken...so Casale had the father of one of the racers doing the inspections...now i respect this guy he is very knowledgeable, but he shouldnt be doing the tracks inspections on cars his team is racing...if this is what will be happening when Glen does finally quit, you will see alot of unhappy campers.
This year only your best 18 nites will count for your points, so after 18 you could see a few cars drop nites after.
Best Flamburgers of any track.
Worst washrooms.
...Worst washrooms.
I beg to differ. Have you seen Barries washrooms? It's funny 'cause they spent a mint on track upgrades and left those rodent infested hell holes for washrooms.

Last time I was at Barrie, I could've sworn (and my crew will back me up) that their washrooms are some of the best of any racetrack I've been to. You can hardly move in Flamboro's pit washrooms.
We travel to a different track every weekend, and none of them come close to Flamboro's pit admission. I think Barrie is like 25, Peterborough is 25, Sauble is 17, and Grand Bend is 15.
It would be one thing if the show was better at Flamboro, but my team and I were disgusted at the special 50 lap late model race last month. Between the autograph session and the by-laply cautioned race - it took them over 2 hours. 2 hours for the least entertaining 50 laps I've ever seen.
Hope those "Big Shot" late model drivers learn how to put on a decent show for this weekend, because most of them should've been embarrassed of their last 50 lapper.
But ya, getting back to the original topic.. Flamboro doesn't deserve more pit admission money than any other track in Ontario, if you ask me.
Barrie is $22 for non members, $19 for members (NASCAR membership is $90)
I believe Sunset is $20 for the back gate.
When you run a speedway by charging excessive amounts at your back gate you have a problem. There was an article in SCR maybe a year or two ago that talked about that problem.
Barrie's concessions (food) skyrocketed this year and a lot of people aren't too happy about it, so we know what you guys are saying. The races are pricing themselves out of the "family evening out" price range... Still pretty good value, but if it goes up any more I can see people not coming out. Look what has happened with hockey and baseball games. No way I'm paying $25 for a hot dog and a beer.
