But does'nt the extra revenue from the travelling series support the drivers of the weekly series? Or is that wishful thinking?

Maybe John wants to put more into the race teams that have been loyal over the years, and not spend money on travel series who show up with low car counts but still expect to get they pay as if they had 20 to 24 cars, have to remember it is a business not a charity. eg; osscar last yr and vintage mods at the end of the season.

Most travelling series (including OSSCAR) get paid according to the number of cars they bring to the track.

can ams get a certain amount for 24 cars and lose $50 from it for each car less than that....and they feel they are still owed money from last year also.

not sure how the series gets paid, but maybe there is more to the canceling of the touring divisions then we know, hopefully they don,t go and drop the late models also,if that happens then Delaware will get more cars then they can handle and teams would have to spend more to race ,whether they convert over to llm and or Delaware Nascar late models, and some cars would just stay home
