Holmes, Gallant, Shaw and Verney Win At Flamboro

The first night of back to back racing took place at Bennett Chevrolet Flamboro Speedway last night. Racing got underway at 6pm. Heat race winners included, Mini Stocks- Brandon McFerran, Russ Aicken and Mike Holmes, Thunder Cars- Chris Howse and Steve Perry, Late Models- Brennan Didero and Shawn Chenoweth, Pro 4 Modified- Bill Pearsall and Mini Stock Consi- Mark Da Silva. Feature race winners, Pure Stocks- Pete Becker, Mini Stocks- Mike Holmes, Thunder Cars- Kevin Gallant, Late Models- Jason Shaw and Pro 4 Modified- John Verney.

Sunday will feature the Lucas Oil Canadian Vintage Modifieds, Ray’s Auto Centre & Towing Thunder Cars, Klotz Auto Repair & Engine Machine Shop Mini Stocks and the Ponderosa Nature Resort Pure Stocks. It is and Invitational for the Thunder Cars and Mini Stocks with time trials to set the feature lineups. The King of the Hill makes its return during the intermission. Pit gates open at 4pm, Grandstands at 5pm and green flag flies at 6pm. Next Saturday, the Grisdale Late Models return along with the Ray’s Auto Centre & Towing Thunder Cars, Klotz Auto Repair & Engine Machine Shop Mini Stocks and the first appearance by the Ontario Pro Challenge series.
