interesting show, but my god, it started at 6pm and ended at 11:05. The Can-Am midget winner got the bums rush as they were over curfew and there was no interview. You can't hear the p.a. above row 6 anyways-the speakers are aimed too low . It (the tq race) was likely the most exciting race of the night, but the Late Model Enduro drove half the fans out of the place once it ended.
Food is still overpriced ($5.00 for a cheeseburger with fried onions) and lineups are way too long. (line up for tickets-line up for drinks-line up for burgers-almost as crazy as Ransomville's dollar bill only thing). Food facilities and washrooms are still inadequate for even a medium sized crowd. I try and tolerate this place a couple times a year, but after watching a truly great program at Humberstone the next evening (23 BRP Late Models, 25 Dirt Sportsmen, 22 Street Stocks, 12 vintage cars and 10 pure stock enduro cars-started at 6:30, over at 9:28 even with an intermission) I wonder why I bother giving Flammy consideration anymore. I guess as long as the back gate mentality pervades there, every special show is going to be a marathon, and that drives casual fans away.
