Flamboro Speedway say's no OSS race in 2008

found this on the Flamboro site today -- not sure if it was posted here but I found it interesting. is there a replacement race or they have a 6 race schedule.February 26, 2008No OSS Race at Flamboro in 2008Recent announcements have incorrectly stated that Flamboro Speedway will be hosting the Ontario Sportsman Series this summer on August 23rd. The speedway would like to clarify that this is not the case.The racing schedule for August 23rd will feature the Late Models, Thunder Cars, Mini Stocks, F4 Modifieds and the Lucas Oil Canadian Vintage Modifieds.Flamboro Speedway was repeatedly approached by the traveling racing group who were looking for a date at Hamilton's 1/3 mile asphalt oval, but speedway management consistently declined. There will be no OSS race at Flamboro Speedway in 2008.Flamboro Speedway continues to put its focus and energy into developing a strong and entertaining grass roots racing show, based on the three core divisions Late Model, Thunder Car and Mini Stock.see you at the track when the storm blows by you. :o StoRm :o

From johns perspective the OSS is just a slower version of his LM's and they cost more to run!

the people that persist in talking or rubbing in oss all the time ..they this they that ..sounds like a bunch of crybabies or crap starters to me..why does someone have to keep bringing up there race schedule .where there raceing and where there not .really who cares..lets talk about something else for once..
