by the way we were in contact with officials, and on twitter all day and at no point did anyone of them mention anything about being canceled, we had LM crew at the track since 11am talking with officials and they were told racing would be a go it may be delayed until 630pm but it was going to be a god for sure.

i think when someone posts a cancellation they should include the date...when i looked at this after coming home from the races i thought i wonder how many didn't check the date of posting and may have stayed home?...
there were numerous delays to accommodate the radio broadcast...some pissed off drivers about the way the track show was ran and the flagging...racing itself was pretty good...

Oldbill how did you like the l l/4 hours do nothing between the heats
and the features.  It is a pretty good way of losing some fans.  You
have lost lots of cars already this year.  Flamborough has lost one fan
already.  I have no plans to go to Flamboro if that is the way they are
going to run their show.

the racing was amazing! I dont remember the last time i seen 14 or 15 latemodels on the lead lap. the delay was for the live broadcast.

by what I gather on another board, the track promotion team's insistence on using twitter, lead a lot of folks into thinking the races were cancelled. The ticker on the track website definitely showed races cancelled but that post had been up for a week  and in continuous rotation. With other tracks like Lancaster and Merrittville throwing in the towel early due to wet grounds, some fans would likely not have given a second thought to a Flamboro cancellation or should I say postponement. Perhaps the track should take a serious look at making the website the primary tool re race notifications and leaving twitter as a secondary tool only.
ps-worse car count ever for a Grisdale race. Is the island rules mentality scaring cars away?
