On tap twin mini stock features, thunders and pro 4's.
31 mini stocks came thru the gate, one was DQ'd before taking a green by returning techman Glen Hils and unfortunately due to an accident one will never race again...
Last years mini champion Willis Mahood and his Volvo were no where to be seen. Story goes that he is taking the year off.
Heat winners were #20 Parker Holman in a honda, #15 Matt Dean in a honda and #88 Ken Spira in a stang.
Dave Bailey, who has built a new 240 nissan but still has a few bugs to figure out, brought out his trusty old stang and took her too the front to win the first feature of 2010.
After inverting the finish of the first feature, Bailey finished second in round 2 following the youngster Holman across the line at the checkers.
The thunder cars saw 20 or 22 cars come thru the gates.
Race veteran #89 Bob Chenoweth won the first heat with #0 Dave Osborne winning the second.
Chenoweth then claimed the feature win by a number of car lengths with #72 Randy Russnell and #27 Kevin Albers third.
Sorry no report for the Pro 4's as I was busy working on a car, no disrespect intended.
Next week the same group again with twin thunder car features.
May 8th thundercars, minis, prochallenge and TQ midgets.
May 15th latemodels first appearance, thunders, minis and CVM's.
