So here's how I see it. I have a crate motor it was what fit into my budget when I built my car, do I wish I had a built motor not really. I managed to get my motor to keep up with the built guys, ya sure it took me a little longer to get it all figured out but it works when you get the right combination in the car. It gives me that extra boost of confidence knowing that my cheap motor can run with some well built race motors. It would be good to have all the cars run a crate then its the best driver/car wins, but that's not going to happen. Just my opinion ;}

The barrie crate deal is not really the crate deal,iam thinking!!The 602 crate is the way to go,that one your talking needed alot of changes to get into race trim.

Hey Larue have you been to Flamboro lately? They are about 6 cars that can work there way to the front, and the rest just go round and round. And Longstreet you could have the best motor around but if you cant turn it what good is it? Just ask the #84 at Sunset.
