Hello everyone,

I hope the off-season is treating you all well.  I was as the track last week during the warmer weather and it almost felt like practice day.  It's sure to sneak up on us soon, and I can't wait to get back at it.

While away from the race track during this off-season, I have been involved in a rather large undertaking with King's University College at the University of Western Ontario.  I am currently wrapping up my work as director on the college's theatrical production - - it is a musical comedy called "Once Upon a Mattress: The True Story of the Princess and the Pea.

Recently the show was covered in London's "The Beat" entertainment magazine.  The article can be read online here: http://beatmagazine.ca/

Quick Notes:

-The show is suitable for all ages and quite enjoyable.  Would make an excellent night out for the family or for a night on the town.

- The show runs at the Wolf Performance Hall (251 Dundas Street) at the London Central Library.

-The dates for the show are January 13, 14, 15 (this week), at 7:00 pm each night.

-Tickets are $15 each and are available at the door for the show or resereved seating by charging by phone at (519) 614-7010.

Full information on the show is available at http://www.kingsmusical.ca .

This production is somewhat connected to motorsports (at least in my mind), as had it not been for my experiences at Delaware Speedway, I would not have the skills to be able to work on a production like this.

Everything comes back to racing...  Delaware Speedway was briefly mentioned in a London Free Press article about the show: http://www.lfpress.com/entertainment/stage/2011/01/11/16848266.html

Had an excellent time John. Thoroughly enjoyed the play. Appreciated all your hard work. I'm sure tonight was bitter sweet being the last performance.
Kudos and well done.
