Now, what would be neat would be extended features and/or double points for the affected divisions the next scheduled time out for each, but I'm not sure how well that would work out in relation to the length of the program...

Extending the features might be a problem but most nights races are done Delaware for example at approx 10:00-10:15 P.M. so to extend them you could have them done by 11:00 P.M.Make the features regular and add on 5 or 10 laps per division. As for double points that would be no problem because all you are doing is adding double points to drivers that attended those races that night only. This would be one way of keeping things on track with out having a night missed because all you are doing is extending or adding double points from the rain out nights. Another question why do tracks not have rain dates for example if Fridays are rained out schelude your rain dates either the next night (Sat ) or if tomany tracks are running Saturday make (Sunday afternoon your make up day.

That would be tough to do at delaware. The owner of the race track (Nick Spivak) has an exclusive golf course next to the race track. My understanding is that to add dates for racing there has to be consultation with the golf course weeks in advance.
