Yes, as compared to last year the Gate is going up, and they did say $20 for Members. I had purchased a membership last year and it was $15 at the gate also we received 4 free passes. So when I saw $22 that was a big jump and I over reacted when I saw it.
There is a good increase for Non-members $7.
Will I buy a membership or two?
We will have to see.

Even if they reduced the cost, its like the price of gas...it will never be enough. We can moan and complain all we want, but when push comes to shove, you have two options. Pay up and do what you really love to do, or dont come.
Rallying on the internet wont bring down the back gate. Save your breath for when it really matters.
But I do agree with you in part.
For instance, how about lowering the purse? I think that is a little strange...lower the purse, raise the price of EVERYTHING else.
Where is this money going? It certianly isnt going back into the speedway.
To be fair, at the 4 Points Sheridan meeting they did say the back gate for members was going up to $20. (It was exclaimed that that was still low in the industry)
However, the extra $2 is sure to hurt the accord that they have work very hard at creating (or repairing) between the racers and the track.
