With the progression of speedway social media, the time has come to update the way we make use of twitter at the track.
The speedway will be moving away from the use of the #delawarespeedway tag, and moving to having fans/driver make use of the easier to use @DelawareSpdway mention feature. Shifting towards the @mentions should increase the visibility of the messages when they are retweeted through the main account and will hopefully find our race teams more followers.
The change comes about after the Wednesday, July 13th APC Summer Showdown event, during which we got a look at some of the ways twitter could be used for the events.
Anyone with questions about this or other social media programs at the track are encouraged to get in touch with me.
All the best,

Ask questions during the races. request pics of things going on LIVE
How does this work maybe a little tutorial for us as I know I would love to get more info from the track and teams and fans when races are on and post them.
Thanks
