This is possible answer for Racers Agent- Reply #21 as posted on Delaware GRR- Online Forums Re 2007 Champion.
He  ( Racers Agent ) was saying anyone 5th on back will have a hard time if any in winning the 2007 Delaware Championship because  of the lack of points( Re cancelled Twin 75 ) as of now no offical announcement has been made whether this has been cancelled for this year if it has is there any reason Delaware could not have double point nights for the Last 2 - 25 Lap features. This Fridays Late Model feature could be Double points for the regular show & First 75 Lap race that was cancelled and the next regular show would be the same as this Fridays. This way all points could be handed out and give all drivers a chance on winning the champioship. It would not be fair if the winner won even though you had a race cancelled race not rescheluded.
Hopefully you take a look at this possible suggestion

a rainout is a rainout happens all the time in weekly racing and its part of the challenge you run into its the same for everyone!!  so if you arent close to winning you probably werent going to be anyway , its mother nature cant control it!

Delaware used to run Double Points at the end of the year if there were rainouts I remember them doing this a few years ago also what about the cars that are in the running and actually any of the top 5 maybe 6 would have a good chance to win it all.
Do you have a problem with double points as a race fan you should not as it would make it interesting. Is this what the race
fan wants excitement I think so.
