i was reading the rules and i noticed that the trucks are the only division at delaware that can not run a manual transmission why is that?? i think the truck division would be good if they were able to run a 3speed tranny.
It keeps a difference between the trucks and the SS?? I don't know? I don't know how to drive a STD thats why I like racing the trucks
Trucks are an entry level division and use Automatic trannys to keep them easy to drive. That's what I've been lead to believe
The car with manuals have alot more power off the corners, they will spin the rear tires more, which means that you have to work the throttle more. So the automatics are easier to drive and make the truck slower. It makes the trucks and car different. But automatics increase the cost.

you really have to miss the set up pretty bad to worry about spinning the tires.
