Truck Points?

Truck 51 should have lost his points for running an illegal chip, he knew it wasn't working in practice and the heat, why would he run the feature thinking he could get away with it.  Not only points involved here, but rookie of the year is an issue as well.  If 51 wins rookie of the year, I hope you are proud of yourself knowing you do not deserve it.  Any rookie out there could have cried to get extra points or sympathy.  When tech lets things like this happen, no wonder the truck class count is dying out.  Rules are made for a reason, follow them and when you are caught cheating own up to it and take responsibility for your actions.

To Delaware Speedway Management.
As a Yearly Demar Aggregate Truck Sponsor we are concerned with your procedures in Tech inspections
- if a truck or trucks have infractions are they given time to fix or replace the problem, apparently this was the case earlier in the year when your lead trucks were discovered with illegal exhaust, no penalties no points lost. Are they even fixed yet.
- if winning trucks "refuse to be teched" and they go home with the trophy, what kind of message are you giving your young teams in your " starter division" as you say.
- do you have a "drive thru no tech", privilege for some
- what is your process for introducing yourselves to race teams that are new.
- whats with ownerpoints and driver points, this is canada.
- are your drivers meetings, drivers meetings or a free for all. The announcement says drivers meetings. Why are others doing all the talking. No one has control. Perhaps a public speaking course for most would be good.

- our money, NO your money! will be going to other tracks from here.

Racesence, I think your message should be sent here if you want a direct response, rather than posting it here where it won't likely be seen.

Gerry was telling a similar story on Saturday, head tech man makes a call at the dyno shop, owner or son over rule that call, and it cost him (car owner) a lot of money... sure a similar story could be found over in the 25 camp?

Who actually was running the place, racer43 advised them to "grow some balls", and yet it appears as though none of the advice was taken... maybe someone from the inner loop would or could elaborate?

maybe 2013 will be a turn around year... all fresh from the promoter on down!

One thing that is needed is some trust in the plan...

what ya mean about new delaware staff top down for 2013, is that...... ??? ,as a sponsor we cannot burn good business bridges.  We have learnt the wishy washy decisions will not benefit our investment if we take them to task.
