torsion bar front end on enduro car

i was thinking i have a 84 crysler fifth ave i could build into and enduro car how hard are these torison bar front ends to set up for handling the coroners. its not set instone or anything i was just thinking about the idea mabey some time in the future ill stick with my chevy for now.

There was a guy who raced thunder cars at mosport awhile back who ran a dodge,they are kind of like load bolts on the frt,what i mean is,you can adjust them,just be prepared to find different rated bars.

It is possible, only tougher to do then GM's or Fords. There are rated torsion bars out there, but expensive. They also have a tendency to be very heavy cars (fifth ave's). They are like a unitized body, with a "kinda" frame underneath built into the sills. If you want a killer mopar, go with a dakota, grab full size 1/2 spindles, gearing from a 3/4 ton that's right for your speed, and find a 360. An extended cab truck with the short box is probably the best for handling. I would think you would startt with 1100-1200 right front being the trucks are narrower. The full size spindles give more space between the BJoints, and help with handling action.
