Can I please ask the racing community for some help. I'm in need of some tires for this year. The problem is I don't know which ones to get. I noticed that a lot of enduro guys are using the BF Goodrich t/A's. Are there any comparables that would be good as well. Thanks to anyone who could help. Oh and what sizes do guys use. Thanks Mike Thomson 03.
If you can find them, Michelin LTX M/S2 tires are very grippy when warmed up, and take muffler bounces fairly well. P235/70R15 are the standard size you would look for. BFG's are the preferred tire if you can find them. You can throw some 225's in there for stagger, or shave down your 235's. Don't think there's too many guys left shaving, so you may need to get creative in that area.
A guy I raced with had an old s-10 he did burnout with to shave his tires.. thought he was crazy but it did work LOL.
Most guys are running 225/70/15 on the right and 215/70/15 on the left firestone firehawks or indy 500s are good but don't tend to last as well as the BFs. as far as shaving I'm pretty sure glen still does it. his # is 5192252631 give him a call and find out
