I think it would be a total blast, and just hilarious to watch.

They did it up at varney a few years ago, but they they tried to do it in reverse!!!

Just this past Saturday we had the annual bush race.  This year we had only 9 cars, but it was a blast.  We have a 1/4 mile oval in a clay field that we grade, and water down.  If you get it right you can hold the thottle down the whole way around.  I got some footage of it I will try and post.  Three wide racing and a little bump and runs were the normal for the day.  All and all a really cheap and fun way to race.

As long as you kept them stock, it would be fun. This would be a cheap form of racing, that many could get into. Make them a 50 lap at the end of a Friday night, and put good money up. Special cash for most damaged car, and least damaged.

Use a cheap setup, like a basic cage requirement, and tires HAVE to match vehicle spec sheet. Exhaust would have to be original fitment, so on.  All of these vans, except for maybe two models, have gast tanks in the middle of the car. There is safety though into them.

Another thing is the payout money. Structure it so everyone gets cash, and make the races every 6 weeks. No points, just good old endurance racing, at a cheap buck. Advertise it, people will come to see something like this.
