off topic but on subject of the act race at ottawa fans got to watch 4 heat qualifiers, 2 consis and 1 last chance prior to the 100 lapper which 29 cars started and put on a great show all for the price of $25. 7 locals started and 4 of them finished in top 10. Steve Munro started 22 and finished 7. Rick Rump finished 4 after having a commanding lead up until the one and only caution. He was 5 seconds from lapping Munro (19th) when the caution came out. Munro was passing lots of cars near the end, running about same times as the leaders.
