you not going to be able to make it again this year John? God thats gotta suck for your sponsors that are on your car!! Sponsoring a car that wont make it to the track, how do you explain to them??  ::) ::)  Thats not good! that would also make it hard on you for getting sponsors for the following years. People knowing that the car had sponsors and didnt show up kinda making a bad name for yourself.

Very true, and it is hard.  I won't name names or get into specifics, but suffice it to say the one sponsor who's provided actual money understands the situation, as they were partly responsible for it.  But yes, this is making it hard to put a professional face on the whole thing.  It wouldn't be so bad if I had enough of my OWN money to finish the car first... but the old lady went and scheduled our WEDDING this year too.  So extra money is simply not there.  :-

I stay optimistic though.  Rear end rebuild, exhaust and a couple minor things and the car's ready to go.
