What I meant was that, all incidents aside, not too many guys ended up bringing their cars home in a bucket. Clarke was the worst hit of the day...that one was a heart stopper...and hes lucky he's ok. Christies looks bad too, though I admit I hadnt realized how bad till I read about it here.

As far as it goes with who's going to be out on the 18th, I think you'll see a fairly light LM field. Sheridan's as the champ I beleive is already a lock. Closest to him is Lindsay at 54 pts back and talking to Scott of Fri night, its pretty much unlikely that he'll be there, unless he works something out with someone else.

And even then, not much point for Lindsay to be there. He's in 2nd and pretty much a lock even if he isn't there, because Gresel is in 3rd and needs 52 points just to tie Lindsay. The closest race is the battle for 3rd with Gresel and Ramsay only 15 points apart.

(I'm really not sure how many points you get per position....so don't hold me to any of this)

I kinda doubt Kennedy will be there. I don't know for sure but I think he'd made that decision just before jumping into the 10k car at the halfway point on Sunday. Thompson should have his fixed, Sheridan will be there, and I'm sure Pritiko will be too.

Robblee kinda marches to the beat of his own drum, so we'll see if he decides to show. I think he was pretty mad about the black flag 2 weeks ago.

I doubt most of the part time guys like Watson, Doerr and Verhoeven will be out...but then I can't speak for them. Hope they are though. The 4 car...no reason for him to be there other than to stir stuff up, and if this is a final race for a championship I don't think I'd want him there. Look for him to be in the end of pit wall in the first lap of his heat race...just so the guys can decide their championship positions on their own.

But then again, him being there might put some bums in the seats so who knows?

Talkin to some peeps this morning regarding the day. The biggest complaint they had believe it or not was the amount of time it took to get us lined back up in the right order. Rarely was the order right and some of that i think came from the lucky dog confusion?? I know the delaware brass reads this forum so I would like to suggest this. Next year or for any long distance event I would recommend they send the lucky dog past the pace car around to the back of the field. This would make it alot easier for the spotters and the teams to keep track of who is recieving it and who there racing. I know one time Im out there telling a fellow driver what I think of him trying to race me so hard when I think hes down a lap to find out later he had received the L.Dog and was racing us, we didnt know that.

Everyone I have talked to thought it was a great show, just cant understand why so much stuff got tore up. Is it the track? Is it the different rules packages? Do they just not like each other? What is it they all asked? How do you answer that??? My answer always is, the surface doesnt cause wrecks, the rules dont cause wrecks, the officials dont cause wrecks, drivers cause wrecks.... some guys put the bucket on and lose all sense of reality. Im so sick of the, Im not here to make friends excuse ( duh obviously ) or its just racing I dont see what the problem is?  If you screw up admit it, shit does happen were all human. If you continually screw up you may want to consider another hobby imo.

Great job on sunday buddy and seeing how expensive fuel is I am happy you did so well.
I have a problem with your comment about getting another hobby if you suck.
I always admit when the mistake is my fault.
But with the limited ability I have your suggestion about getting another hobby I considered that but I am not good at anything else either so I am sticking with this one .LOL

As a fan of racing Sunday had me on my feet but as a guy who also pays the bills it had me shaking my head.
