Yup, Trevor's doesn't cut out all the BS that wet on.

The CANUSA boys in practice Friday night
Cox would crash hard in Friday's feature, ending his weekend.

Andrew Gresel would be the big winner on Friday night in the Late Model division with his second feature win of the season.

The driver of this Viper used up his car in King of the Hill and was the big loser of the night.

One of the highlights of Saturday night was the train races. Here's one train at the top of the hill.

Here are the winners in action.
Sunday I had a little more time to snap some action shots when things were slow on pit road.

I don't think Cole really was when I took this, but he would be later.
Darcy from the Kennedy crew.

Another shirt that speaks the truth.

Kennington’s car just before setting fast time.

Rob Clark’s replacement driver.

Jory Elliott ... doing whatever it is that he is doing.

Kennington and Verhoeven share a pre-race laugh – they wouldn’t be laughing by the end of the day.

Sheridan leads the field to the green.

This is how Marc Jacobs day started.

This is how Jacobs’ day ended.

In between he gained back a few laps and finished sixth.

Jay Christie’s day ended like this.

And the other side looked like this.

This was the story for almost the entire first half of the race.

In this journalist’s opinion the best young talent in Ontario since J.R. Fitzpatrick – Brandon Watson.

Lloyd Rawling’s damaged machine.

Jamie Grover’s car didn’t look much better.

The nose on Bryan Mercer’s car suffered much the same fate.

Sheridan gives Watson a hand through turn four.

Some of the best shots are always a little out of focus.

Loading up after a tough day for the 81 team. On a side note, what a great addition to Friday nights the #81 team has been all season. They show up fast every week, and have bettered a lot of drivers this year in the points who have been around the block a number of times, and even held off that #28 car one night to win feature number one.

Jesse Kennedy in the back-up car slows to avoid the spinning Watson.

Photo three – Kennedy turns left to avoid one Watson, and ends up running over another Watson – tough day for the former two time Great Canadian 200 champ.

Photo five – Watson lights them up after grabbing a gear.

This was taken just before Robblee passed Urlin for the lead (while really insignificant, it leads into the next set).

Kennington also got by Urlin – that happened off turn two – this is their next trip through three and four.

Photo five – Urlin would turn Kennington the next corner.

Shortly after Kennedy versus Thompson round two – Jerry Thompson gives some steak marinade tips to a track official for his post race bar-b-que.

Shawn Thompson’s car.

CRO’s racer43 en route to a fourth-place finish. Forgot to check if he was carrying the CRO sticker on his Late Model, I know it’s on his LOSC car. BTW Jay, I’ll get those photos up this week ...

Powell, after taking a couple of peaks low on Sheridan before Ron goes around.

Photo two – it looked at the time like Powell was faster. Ron was doing everything he could to win his second Great Canadian 200, and Powell was doing everything he could to claim his spot in Delaware lore at a very young age.

Brandon Watson passes Mark Watson on the last lap. Second podium for Brandon in as many years, and first podium for Mark in only his third attempt.

Urlin tries to show Verhoeven that his post race tailgate party is to the right in the parking lot.

Robblee celebrates his third win in the Great Canadian Race... meanwhile ...

Verhoeven was trying to get a hold of Urlin to explain that the campground off the backstretch would have far better grub.

Urlin’s entire crew objected to the cuisine suggestion, while the new dress for the NASCAR Officials next year could be black and white stripes with a whistle.

And back to the podium.
That's is an EPIC set of pics! Awesome work on both sides of the fence. Up top, JWO nailed a lot of key moments and downstairs Maudsley got some of the stuff we couldn't see because of all the haulers....and some hilarious commentary. (Man those guys all seem to think of nothing but food.)
That, folks, is what makes CRO work.
;D
Trev and Jamie...the report and the pics were awesome. I couldn't be there this past weekend but the report Trevor has done makes me feel like I was. What an interesting race to say the least! Wonder how many will be back on the 17th for the final race?
